Agreed, and WR's have always been a factor in how high our recruiting rankings are. LSU recruits the exterior as well as anyone, just like Bama the interior. But, we have not had the exterior be the focal point on offense since 2008, outside of 2013. It is a huge reason for not "playing to our potential"...a lot of our potential is an afterthought. I know our WR's have gotten some blame for dropped passes, but I think the argument can be made that LSU's passing game has suffered in the recent past not because they don't trust the QBs, its that they don't trust their WR's. Clearly, its a mixture of both, but it is an interesting point nonetheless that WR involvement has been so scarce, almost to the point of being strictly a safety valve.
