Les will not be the LSU coach in 2017. I truly believe he's to dumb to see the writing on the wall.

Unfortunately, I tend to agree. He is the luckiest coach alive. He walked into a goldmine set up by Nick Saban. He won a national championship with a 2-loss team. The two losses were to lower ranked teams, one at home, when the national championship was on the line. He was utterly destroyed in New Orleans by Saban and Bama for the whole world to see. He has not shown that he can develop a QB. It seems to me he plays to not lose rather than to win. He was taking his farewell tour on the field with his family and the crowd was robustly thanking him for the memories. The incompetent LSU hierarchy took the crowd's response for meaning the fans wanted him to return.

Despite all the negative vibes, Lucky Less has seen everything set up for a great run in 2016, which will be the ultimate up/down vote for Les Miles as head coach at LSU. He returns 18 starters, he only lost one junior to the draft, he has a top 5 recruiting class. He plays Bama and Ole Miss at home. He has a junior QB and a Heisman candidate at RB. He has a stable of RBs and WRs. He has no excuses whatsoever. It is put up or shut up.

Every year I have watched Les at LSU, he has fumbled opportunity at some point during the year. Every year, bar none. Many will say, but he won a national championship. I will say, by the grace of God. With the national championship game on the line for each, Les had two loses to lower ranked teams that he never should have lost to. And then there was that inept monstrosity against Bama in that championship game. 2016 will be the true ultimate test for Les Miles. Everything is on the line. Show us what you got. History says he will fall short and stumble at some important point during the year. It never fails. It is a pattern. I truly hope I am wrong. 2016 is Les Miles' final exam as LSU's head coach. Will he pass with flying colors or flunk the test?
