Some states its still statutory rape. It also says it lasted until she graduated at 17, meaning she could have been 16 when it started.

Apparently, I spoke out of my arse earlier. The cutoff for statutory rape in California is 18, not 16. I must have confused California for Arkansas & Alabama, where the age is 16 (however, the elder lover must be within 2-3 years of age of the minor).
