They will also take any and all quality officials with them.. Th its are about to get interesting..

I hope the privates do split

Why stay in an organization that wants to keep you seperate and one that you really have no control over what rules you have to abide by

This may be the wake up call that the Louisiana public education system needs.

Schools like WM, Zachary, Central, Barbe, etc will be fine and most of those will join

According to the article they will have transfer regulations that will probably be properly enforced (unlike now) and eligibility will probably be heavily accounted for. There probably will not be a free agency, but privates will be able to offer financial assistance.

Also, this will kick start a great arms race for athletic facilities. The new league would eventually rival what you see in Texas and Florida. Which only benefits the kids.
