NBADraft.net has us taking Dragan Bender (Croatia) 6th, and Pascal Siakam (New Mexico State) with the 40th pick.

LINK

DraftExpress has us going with Skal Labissiere (Kentucky) at 6, and Devin Robinson (Florida) at 37.

LINK /

Not sure about Skal, but I would love to get Bender.

Skal labissiere is not going that high, so that's a joke right there

He'll probably leave anyway because of the logjam UK will have next year, but he's nowhere near NBA ready.

Has huge buyout so probably can't come over for like 2-3 years I think. Only 18 years old. Lots of people consider him the next big thing, but no immediate help and huge risk.

LOL. No shot. None. Dude shouldn't even come out as he will drop like a stone in this draft.

Give me Buddy Hield

And if Bender eventually becomes a super star we'll be kicking ourselves for passing on him because he won't be ready right now. If we're blowing it up like you want, then there is no right now.

Fair point. What's his future position? Where would he fit next to AD?

Everyone is raving about him but he's 18 years old and he's playing Euro ball so who knows. He's 7'1" and 216. Can he grow into a 5? Is he strictly a finesse Stretch 4/oversized 3? Does he develop into a legit 4 and you move AD to 5?

I don't know. To me he looks to have a lot of potential but isn't as advanced as Porzingis was. But I'm watching Youtube highlight videoes.

I could see him as a starting 3 that slides to the 4 in small ball rotations. His scouting reports seem to project him as a hybrid type anyway.

Watch out for Malik Beasley. He's been blowing up lately.
.514 fg%
.407 3pt%

He's actually threatening to join Kyrie Irving and James Harden as the only freshmen (since 1995) to finish a season with a 63 percent true shooting percentage, 40 percent three-point mark and at least 17 points per game.

We have Denver's 2nd this year and then there's a multiteam 2nd swap and trade between us the Kings and the Bucks. Draft Express' last mock had us picking 37(Denver pick from Ish trade) and 39 (Sac pick from pick swap)

I'm surprised to see Isaiah Briscoe all the way late in the 2nd. Pretty sure he is going to return. Crazy how he was rated #1 PG for 2015 class, but the again so was Austin Rivers lol.

I do not want a foreign kid. Don't care how good they think he is.
Skal is a joke.

As others have said, if Buddy is there and we don't take him, i give up on this organization.

in the order in which i would draft
If we had a top 3 pick:
Simmons
Ingram
Brown
If we are picking 7th or whatever:
Hield
Poeltl
Diamond Stone (sounds like a pornstar)

Second Round, assuming we have a pick when its our turn:
Wayne Selden
Denzel Valentine
Danuel House
Taurean Prince

It's even crazier that his reach is longer than beal and mcclemore. I think he would become better than mcclemore. I would love to have him on my team. He reminds me of Eric Gordon a lot in college.

Wingspan or standing reach? They all have similar wingspans

EG attacked the basket before the injuries. That was his game. I don't really see that in Hield

Beal and Mcclemore are pretty athletic, too. Curious to see what Hieid does. Gotta be able to rise and shoot over guys in the league. He's carrying a little more bulk, too

Selden has been improving lately. I like the other guys you listed especially Valentine. Dude is a triple double machine. What if we added Ryan Anderson from AZ lol wouldn't that be funny.

Its an interesting case, but the NBA draft is such a ridiculous crap shoot, after the first 2-3 guys, I just want a guy that I'm reasonably sure will contribute for a number of years. I think Hield's skillset is such that at the very least, he has a spot/niche carved out for him.
