Wasn't Mudbone on here just the other day saying McElwain and Skipper were class acts? I doubt this is true.

The operative word might be "act". There's plenty of men who seem to be fine, upstanding role models, but they're really pricks behind that thin veneer. Not saying McElwain, etc. are really pricks, but your doubt... based on a gracious comment by Muddbone... and some other anecdotal evidence (I'm guessing) means nothing. McElwain may be genuinely classy or he might be a slick used car salesman.

And it's not a stretch at all to think McElwain and crew are selling the idea that they just got there, made a little progress already, and are going to build on that... while helping Fulton go over his options and point out that as excellent as Coach Raymond has been, he's not likely to be there much longer. That's not the worst example of dirty recruiting I've heard, but I don't have a hard time believing that's true.

The good news is, Coach Raymond has supposedly been approached with other offers and already turned them down. And thankfully, as someone else pointed out, Raymond got a raise and extension.
