re: MIddle aged white guys, who wants your money?

No one seems to want my money any longer. I walked into a restaurant this weekend to have breakfast with my son. They were kinda busy but not jam packed. Anyway, as we were walked to our table the host started to say something to what I guess was going to be our waitress. She then said under her breath "I'm just going to bite my tongue". She repeated that twice more obviously loud enough for me to hear her.

If you've worked in a restaurant you understand that she clearly did not want to be sat. I turned the host around and told him that we were leaving and that his waitress was terrible. He knew she said something but didn't know what. He asked and I just told him that's between him and her now and that I wouldn't be back.

I used that to teach my son that you don't want people handling your food that don't want you there.
