I'm heading to San Antonio on the 6th (couple of days too late!). Any suggestions on things to do, places to eat, etc.? I'll be staying at the Grand Hyatt.

Congrats on the digs! Staying in SA in style

Riverwalk is a must (shops/eats along the route are legit. Touristy, but not disappointing). A riverboat tour is a neat way to see some of the sights along the river without walking the whole thing. I recommend La Gloria in the Pearl district for eats. It's a bit off the beaten path, though.

Or if you're looking for a unique experience, check out the restaurant a the top of the Tower of the Americas. HemisFair Park at the base of the Tower also has live music every Friday night, but sometimes they'll have another band on Saturdays.

I think the Spurs have a game on the 6th, as well.

Mi Tierra is very good Mexican food with a great atmosphere including table side mariachi. They also are open 24/7 IIRC so you can hit them up whenever.
