These are going on sale February 5th. I'd like to get a pair of decent tix for the 5 Saturday conference games. Any ideas on how much I can expect to pay and suggestions on where I might be able to get good seats without paying anything crazy?

Outside the gates before each game. Can often get grandstand for face. Tix don't get tougher until Supers.

There and at the entrance to the Hayfield Lot or the corner by the railroad tracks.

Stand out there with fingers in the air and you'll get tickets.

This is true. Like ell said, tickets are pretty easy until the post season.

If somebody wants tickets "in hand" before a game, the Ticket Marketplace on lsusports.net works well.

Good deal, grandstands it is. Any idea how much face typically runs? As far as the sun goes, which side of the field is better?

Home plate to center faces North NorthEast. Sun sets behind 3rd base. All of grandstand is good. Face is around $10 per.

Awesome! So would you say it makes much difference which grandstand you're in for day or night games?

Is it typically a better atmosphere for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday games?

I don't think it makes a difference where you sit in the grandstands.

For me it depends on what view you're used to.

I always sit between home and first. The view is weird to me if I sit anywhere else. It's all what you're used to.

I'd rather go to night games.

Between home and first--that's what I was thinking. That way you can typically get a good view of the batter facing head-on as he swings. Glad to hear the sun isn't too much of an issue in that case. Only Vandy and Florida are Saturday day games I'm looking at. All the other conference Saturday games are night. I'll stick with Saturday and the grandstands between home and 1st in that case.

Sun is never an issue in the grandstands. It's completely covered.

By the way, how are the seats in the grandstands? Just a metal bench? I'll bring my stadium seats if so. Thanks
