Grub burger isn't in the top 10 burgers in town

Agreed. My top cheap eats are:
1. Dax
2. Bon Temps
3. Dean O's
4. Fat Pats
5. Nimbeauxs

And Sunday brunch at blue dog is still excellent.

Blue Basil is a solid new place

Haven't seen Saint Street Inn yet, it belongs in discussion

I prefer Bangkok Thai (old Pimon building)

That it is, prefer Viet to Thai. If it's just for the basics I just go to Saigon Noodles (same owner/cheaper menu).

Great food but something has to give with their service. It's atrocious at best and that's coming from someone who's been a half a dozen times. I understand wait time, due to space and kitchen size, but the inattentiveness of the service staff is inexcusable. The last time we went it was nearly a 2 hour ordeal with the wait and dining. Social from here on out unless I hear it gets dramatically better.

If this is your main objective, Guidry's Reef is excellent in that category.

However, zero atmosphere. You'll be eating with old people, but the stuffed shrimp will be dead on point.

I agree about French Press. Best burger in Town but the service is ridiculous. They need to step up their bar if they're gonna make the normal wait 2 hours.

Add Marcellos for an Italian recommendation
