Well LSU just had it's largest freshman class ever. So building new complexes isn't that big of a stretch...

I understand that, but they built that Sterling place just in 2015, the Standard in 2015, and that exchange place on Burbank as well? It seems like overkill at this point.

Yep. I read something the other day that said the BR rental market is really difficult.. that a lot of big name places have long waiting lists and whatnot. I personally have never had an issue finding the right place for me, but I have definitely checked out some places that didn't call me until months later when I was well settled into a new place (due to their waiting list).

All of the affordable places around campus are filled with non-students now. The place I lived up until November had zero students in my building. Parents know this is happening and they see the crime in the area.. so they are paying for their kids to live in the nice new places.
