This stinks. I hate this for USM very much.
Somewhat odd to leave for OC even if in the NFL. Idk.. I guess he has NFL HC dreams?

Not the best path. It's a title only position as Tampas head coach will still call plays

Apparently Monken tried to get raises for his staff. He got the job offer from the Bucs and pulled the "give them raises or I leave" card. Southern Miss said nope and he left.
Second hand info but seems plausible. This is good news for La Tech, I think he recently flipped a couple of their kids.
