Pretty cool, but what does this say about the state of humanity, not society, but humanity in that, in order to feel like his life had meaning Sam felt that he needed a job. It's amazing what humanity has evolved into. "To have meaning means to work" just sounds weird. And I'm not knocking Sam, it's not his fault he feels that way.
