well when i log into tigerdroppings, it has the news links that are posted, i click on them, and the text/pic is non-existant..the comments at the end are there, and the related links are there..but the body of the original is not there...its blank

You are very likely using an ad blocker/content that disables embedded Twitter posts.
Adjust the settings for it.
Embedded Twitter posts do not require an account to see/read.
