god, I hope this is a joke.
He's the freaking head coach and with his OC they get paid > $5 million. Why do you need outside consultants to tell you how to do your job?

Well Alabama has several consultants that work with the team on both sides of the ball.
WIth that said, I can't find any article online that states Miles actually brought in consultants. So I don't know where I read that. [maybe I dreamed it]

Les and Cam both said they were going to look around at some different offensive approaches.
Saban brought in Chip Kelly for playoff bowl prep. Brought in Kiffin when prepping for Oklahoma. Brought in Gregg Williams when prepping for 1/9/12.
It never hurts to have a few extra set of fresh eyes to come in with some ideas. It's what makes a great coach just that.
