Why is it reasonable now but it was unreasonable at $3.50?
Isn't that how supply and demand works? If millions of people didn't think it was reasonable the price would have come down.

Debatable. I've gone over this many times in these threads, so I'll be brief, but if oil gets much worse it will have been the result of slowing global growth and that is good for no one. I'm not saying low oil will destroy the globe - that is preposterous - but the recent dive in oil prices has coincided with a significant valuation to ALL industries since the 1st of the year. Every time you wake up to see lower oil prices for the foreseeable future, you're going to also see significant declines in your investments as well.
Oil isn't causing it, but the lower oil gets the worse we will all be.

yep, at least in the short term, this is great for MOST of the countries economy.
consumers saved over $115 billion in gas LAST YEAR alone,so thats a lot of saved money that can be spent elsewhere.
in a way, all industries relies on oil in some form or another, so when oil prices go down, theoretically, that keeps the price of everything else nice and low ...which is absolutely great for the everyday consumer.
long term no one knows what will happen, regardless what any of these oil field baws attempt to guilt you to believe

I call bullshite on this statement. ANY time I have looked into buying a vehicle I factored 4 things. Cost of the car, insurance cost, price Id spend on gas per month, and future resale value. If you cant afford to pay the gas, dont buy the car. That seems like common sense to me.
