Maybe I'm desensitized by goodole coonass food, but...sushi (and obviously sashimi) is terribly bland to me.
Doesn't gross me out, and I eat it when I'm out with people who like it, but...it's just not really even food. Just a novelty. Shrug.
I don't get it, and I've been to some really good sushi places in Hawaii and Guam.
