Be honest and up front with her about how you feel so its not a waste of anybody's time. There has to be some give and take to make things work, if either of expect to resolve this giant issue in one day and settle on one or the others viewpoint I don't think that's realistic. Maybe just agree you'll try things out for a few months and reevaluate, things change drastically early on in a relationship.

One of my good friends was in the same situation and it has worked out good for them, so if you're committed there is hope.
