To clarify, when I say "California", I'm not talking about the topography, scenery, etc. It's a beautiful state. I'm talking about the people. (No, not all of you. Plenty of good folks out there. But FFS, the state is full of idiots...and don't get me started on the politics.)

If you look at most maps showing the political breakdown of California, you'll notice that most of
California leans conservative from a geographic or land-area standpoint. Unfortunately most of the population lives along the coast where it is very liberal.

Go to Yosemite and you'll be surrounded by conservatives. Go to LA/SF and you'll be surrounded by liberals.
