You coach right? How's that work with small schools who don't send lots of kids to college and don't have well established relationships?

Just curious. Not asking for anyone in particular just trying to generate conversation.

Seems like a big program who gets a young kid who can immediately play varsity would know what they have.

It depends on the sport. For all the hate it gets the open season in AAU basketball in April and July gives a lot of kids exposure to college coaches.
