Absolutely. If you are good, they will notice. These camps tend to play lots of scrimmages, and the top players stick out. When I went to a camp in 7th grade, there were two kids in particular who the coaches were very intrigued by.

Exactly. I covered a lot of the recruiting of Jarrett Stidham, the now Baylor QB, and it's well known around the people who know the story of Jarrett that Art Briles said he was going to be a top prospect when he was in 8th grade.
