I would get a separate modem and router. Every modem/router in one that I've used has been awful. I recently switched to a Motorola sb6141 and an Asus router and it has been so much better. My recent modem/router combo would only give me half of the speeds I was paying for and it was always cutting out requiring me to reset it.
