I've been following LSU since the early 70's.
Yes it's true the best years started under Nick Saban in 2000. 15 years of glory!
Miles has done a very good job continuing the winning tradition the last 11 seasons..
but frankly we hate finishing 2nd or 3rd every year to Alabama.
They had great years in the 70's 80's 90's and now 4 championships in 7 years..
So I would say Alabama is spoiled rotten and we're kind of jealous.
The bottom line is, we want be contending and we haven't been since 2011...
We just need a stud QB....the rest is there to make title run
beyond the offense and QB woes, there is much to be happy about

This is something that just bugs me. It's dishonest.
We sure as hell "contended" in 2012, and we were the #1 team in the country in the first week of November in 2015. We "contended". Even after the Bama loss we were still in contention if Dak was able to pull off the upset of Bama, which many saw as a very realistic possibility.
We have "contended" to win the West into the month of November four of the past six years and seven of Miles' eleven seasons.
The people that bash Miles don't "just want to contend" for titles. They live in constant comparison to that program to the east and view every year we finish behind them as an outright and inexcusable failure, and that is simply childish.
But pretending like that's not the issue and saying "we just want to contend" is full on pussified bitch style dishonesty. At least own the envy.
