Depends on what you mean by altogether.
I dropped DirecTV and picked up Netflix and Amazon Prime. Also got an Amazon Fire Stick.
But the trick for me is that my father gave me his password, and I admit that I am stealing a few stations from his account. ESPN, HGTV, Fox Sports Go, and HBO Now are the ones I use.
So here are my expenses:
Charter - $60
Netflix - $8
Amazon Prime - $100 (a year)
Fire Stick - $40 (one time fee)
I'm saving $75/month since dropping DirecTV.
Honestly, since dropping DirecTV, I watch less football and less sports overall. I still watch the Auburn games and the big time matchups, but I've found myself not as interested as I was last season or in the previous decade. I'm to the point that I rarely watch NFL games. If my dad called tomorrow and said he was dropping his subscription (which I encourage him to do), I wouldn't mind outside of maybe two or three college football games a year.
