I don't blame anyone for being excited about the move... Unless you are a through-and-through Rams fan, or live in LA, it's business as usual though. You may see some residual fallout with the fan-base in San Diego for the Chargers though. I spent a month in the St. Louis area. I rarely noticed there was even a football team in that market. The most that I saw pertaining to the local sports market was the S.L. Cardinals. I met one guy that I would have considered a true Rams fan my entire time there.

one of the best games I saw between the Saints-LA Rams was on New years Eve. The Monday Night Football crew (ABC) was calling the game. I was like 8 years old so my memory is sort of vague.

Morten Andersen kicked a FG to win it.

I think the Rams blocked the kick on the first try but they were offsides so he got another chance. He nailed the next try..

put the Saints in the playoffs!!!!!!

Saints- STL Rams had some good battles in 2000-2001. I remember the Saints coming from way back to beat STL on the road in 2001. I even think Darren Howard got an interception that game... it was fricking crazy. The Saints got a bunch of turnovers off the Rams to help them comeback.
