I haven't seen Persepolis, but I did read the graphic novel. From the previews I remember, it seemed like they just animated the book to go from panel to panel. It wasn't anything great, but it did give an interesting in sight into life in Iran before and after the Islamic Revolution and Iran-Iraq War
