Michigan won't wait until Jan. we won't have the Michigan coach finish the season. Also, I have a real problem with people saying it is OK for a coach to leave this program for his "Dream Job". WTF is coaching a 32-5 team to the national championship? I think it looks bad on us as a state if we lose a coach after the 03 and 08 titles. Who then will consider this there dream job?

I understand your concern...but I try to take a long-term view of the situation. Yes, I hope Miles stays and wins the national championship this year, but the LSU football program is bigger than any one coach, whether it is Saban or Miles or the immediate successor. Sure, I would like LSU to have a HC that stays for a long time and consistently is in the national championship picture. But, I think the days of Joe Pa and Bobby Bowden coaching at one school seemingly forever until they retire or die (whichever comes first), are unrealistic in today's college football business.

Someone who does not know the difference between "there" and "their"?
