No, it doesn't. These kids have a limited athletic shelf life. If they would rather play sparingly on the 53 or practice squad and make 6 figures, good for them. I do get bothered when they get bad advice from some "uncle" who says it would be better to leave early and go 5-7 round than stay, get your degree and possibly go 3-4. What bothers me more is that universities don't do more in forwarding their education. Most athletes are general studies majors, schools should do a better job of pushing business classes on kids that are about to come into more money than their families have ever had.
