I mean if they're scenes like the few from season 1 of True Detective where sex and objectification of women is a major theme of the show and the scenes themselves advance the plot in a meaningful way, then I'm good with it.
The gratuitous scenes in shows where sex isn't an obvious theme or factor in the show just suck. If I want to watch idealized sex with all the fixings, I'll open my computer.

Are scenes where people eat sandwiches in shows where eating sandwiches aren't major themes annoying to you? How about when people are cutting the grass?
There's nothing wrong with having sex scenes if they're done well.
