Of all the local people this guy has been the most wrong, the most often. He said Brees was done. He said Payton was gone. He's always the first one to jump in with doom and gloom predictions and melodramatic "end of an era" BS. He's a Chicken Little and a troll.

WDSU used to be great station. If the Saints can make changes and let Rob Ryan and other coaches go, I think WDSU needs to look at their own underperforming sports staff and make some changes, too. Mackel's been around too long and gotten way too stale. He's calling Brees and Payton a shell of their former selves, when it's really him and WDSU sports that's a shell of what it once used to be.
