Do you mean dividend stocks that pay the best yield or dividend stocks that maintain or increase their value?
I own shares of many stocks that have +10% yield but have not maintained their value.
On the other hand AT&T has been a solid dividend payer and has increased in value since I've owned shares in that company.
Utilities and telecoms are the safest dividend stocks.

Reynolds American RAI pays good dividends and has increased in value a good bit. They also have a history of increasing their dividend.

samson'sseed, was it you that brought up RLI? I remember that it was an UGA fan who did, but I don't recall the username.
