LSU gave up 19+ in their first 10 games.


Just asking because I do not know. Serious question. Were did LSU rank with the oppositions average starting position. That could greatly skew the results and could be why the opponents did so much better scoring than actually moving the ball.

Points per game could be in part to the offense and SPECIAL TEAMS!

The offense had barely any turnovers the first 7 games.

Special teams coverage was poor but that meant teams were starting around the 30. Teams weren't starting in plus territory. Teams drove the field on LSU and the defense usually helped them with busts.

LSU gave up way too many points this season which is an undeniable fact.
