didn't care for that scene at all.
why have such a bulky weapon that you can easily throw yourself off balance with, and Finn has to rely on Poe bullseyeing him at Mach 1? Just unnecessary and over the top, I wish we could ask who came up with that scene and why they thought it added to the film

I always wondered why the Empire never used and improved on the staffs that Grievous' guards used. They were obviously good against light sabers.

Really? The whole film was rife with moments like that. This was a movie made for merchandising, plain and simple.
