I see the argument. However, it's basically the same as saying the parents are to blame for letting a known trouble making kid roam the streets and point a very realistic looking gun at people.
No, it isn't. This is a supposedly professional organization making professional decisions. Did they do ANY due diligence on this POS? I've done lots of interviewing in my life and we would never hire someone with that poor of a reference from his former employer. Stop making excuses for these assholes. Stop defaulting to the cops.

I'll form my own opinion as I see fit, but thanks for the advice.
I am forming my opinion on the facts presented...not on emotion.
You're angry. That doesn't typically lend itself to forming a cohesive and logical argument.
Perhaps you should stop defending a kid who obviously made some incredibly poor choices that day? Based on previous comments, you seem like you have a very emotionally charged opinion against police officers.
If your partner pulls you up next to an individual, that you were told was pointing a gun at people, and that individual reaches for that gun, would you not take the same course of action?
Whether or not the cop is an arse hole is irrelevant, based on the facts presented, he was justified.
I don't give two shits about kids or police officers one way or the other. I am just looking over the information provided and the information provided doesn't lead me to believe that charges should be filed for the shooting.
I'm not sorry if that doesn't jive with your viewpoint or if it pisses you off.
