He may very well have been thinking that it's best to not have what appears to be a real gun in his waistband when the po-po rolls up. He may very well have been trying to pull it out real quick to throw it on the ground and/or show the officers' that it was fake. Maybe little Tamir always wanted to be a police officer when he grew up and he was playing in the park, pretending to fight bad guys with his toy gun.

Even if the above were all proven to be 100% true and accurate, it still doesn't mean the officers' actions were criminal. (I know YOU aren't making that assumption...I just replied to your quote.)

"Criminal act". Everyone should say it 10 times. That's what was determined to not have happened on the officers' part. Nobody decided they handled it perfectly. Nobody decided that Tamir deserved to die. ALL that was decided was that the officers' actions were not criminal.
