Guys like this are the biggest WTFs and the reason why LSU will continue to struggle to field a veteran defense in the SEC. Meanwhile, Bama has 8 seniors and 6 juniors in their 2 deep. That's crazy.

People don't really think these kids are staying at Bama for Sabans glowing personality, do they?

I'm going to assume those stats are true, but yes, that is a huge difference in the programs.

Mass defensive exodus after 2012 season, 2013 D holds us back.

Mass offensive exodus after 2013 season, 2014 O holds us back.

It seems pretty straightforward to me.

Serious Question, appreciate an objective answer(s):

Why does one program loose them so quickly and another program retain them?

Obvious answer is we have better players who are ready to move up but somehow I think there may be more to it than that and I do not have the answer. Even if these guys are staying others have left in the past so it seems to be an ongoing issue.
