Pretty much a hallmark of Les Miles' teams since he's been here, instead of putting players in the best position to succeed based on their skill set, they try and force feed them a system they're not comfortable in.

Also Haley didn't coach shite for technique obviously.

Poor coaching development in college, or different scheme in pros? What say y'all?

Neither.
people that understand football know he was a beast last year at lsu. He shut his side down against the run last year. he had 70 tackles. only 4 dlinemen in the entire country had more tackles than Hunter.
I swear lsu fans on here look for any reason to shite on our staff.

This is such bullshite. Of course players get better coaching at the pro level. They can practice all day every day, while cfb is limited to 20 hours a week on the field.

What part of Hunter not being shown even the most basic pass rushing techniques at LSU did you not understand?

You are right about this. I wrote much the same thing in previous threads about Hunter. He had a fatastic senior season. The scheme tended towards containment rushing, and that's the main reason for the lack of sacks. As you said, they don't have a lot of practice time in college so they focus on what they need.

The same dopes who think Hunter was not very good at LSU are panning Tre White. He's another guy who had a stellar season right under our noses, yet most fans didn't notice.

He has played in 2 more games this year. Thats a 1.5 sack difference. How is this a discussion topic?

Most likely scheme. Just look at the diff in the sack numbers this year.
