Off the AP. He seems sincere and contrite. He's certainly saying all the right things. I would think everybody would be ready to move past this now.

Does he still have a target on his back with the rest of the NFL DBs or is it all good now?

lol he's the biggest target out there for opposing defenses now. They're gonna troll the hell out of him.

He has a target on his back because he has made it evident that if you rough him up you get him off his game.

He has complained about being dbs being physical all year. Which means he doesn't like it. Which in the NFL world means you do it to get in his head.

The target will be bigger than ever. Norman gave the playbook to taking OBJ off his game. He is sincere, but remember this is a business. $$$ over everything

I was waiting for a sincere apology....one was issued.
what? There's no forgiveness when a guy admits he acted like an idiot.

Who pissed in your corn flakes? you need to get laid dude.

Are you kidding me? He copied and pasted what some PR intern wrote for him. Shefter already reported he showed little remorse at the appeal yesterday.

I bet his teammates are loving him right now. He already cost them the game Sunday and now can't show a little remorse to get the suspension lifted with their playoff hopes on the line.

What a team player. What a role model

OBJ didn't write that. It was his agent or some PR guy who told him to do it and wrote it for him. .

Not just this case, but I hate seeing these written apologies that are so clearly written by lawyers or PR guys. It sucks all the sincerity out of it.

He's the biggest target because of the league's jealousy of his talent, fame, success, swag, game day passion he leaves out on the field during the whistles. He is what every player aspires to be.

"His" apology was too late and scripted. He should have stood in front of the camera Monday AM and admitted he was selfish and acted like a kid.

He didn't write that. Someone like his agent, publicist, or fashion stylest wrote it for him.

you get him off his game.

And that's his mistake. He needs to be a professional. He needs to remind himself that everything is filmed. If they're doing things (even if not called on the field), he can get his recourse that way. IF he chooses to retaliate, then he has lost his composure and allowed the opponents to successfully bait him.

If he let his play do the talking, everything else would work itself out.

But, WRs are just, by and large, Divas - I can't explain why it is such a high proportion, but it just is - has been for 30 years.

Any time someone is at the top of his game, he becomes a target for taunts. As a professional, he has to expect this & not let others get into his head. Let's hope this situation becomes a learning experience so he can remain at the top of his game. I believe he will & wish him the best.
