Why can't he just admit we played like crap in all three of those games, that we have huge problems that must be addressed,

You don't think he knows that and talks about it in house? Not sure why you need him to tell you this.

Do you truly think he believes every thing is peachy?

That's the problem, Bee. You really can't tell sometimes.

After the last several years? I actually don't. It's consistently been the same issue year after year after year after year.

Different players, coordinators, etc... Same head coach. There's something he's not seeing, and he's not heeding the advice of his staff around him that does see it.

I'm not going to bad mouth Miles on this board as he is the coach of LSU.....however I will state some facts.

A) Nobody on this damn board knows what he says to his players behind closed doors.

quote:

Not sure why you need him to tell you this.

B) Other coaches do it all the time.

C) All we can honestly speak to is what he is saying. He is telling us that the bowl game in Houston, TX on Dec. 29th is a quality postseason game to play in and that if we wouldn't have had some injuries we would have done better. We can't honestly know for certain if he believes other stuff needs to be fixed because he hasn't told us anything to that effect basically other than some minor offensive tweaks. We do know that, so far, no coaching changes have been made....so I think that, if that continues to be the case, we can obviously infer that he thinks all of our coaches are doing a pretty good job and should remain employed on his staff.

That is what we know. Anything else anyone says is basically opinions and what they think is the case.

I don't think he does. Face it, Les Miles is a clown who has no clue what is going on with this football team. Perhaps him keeping his job by the skin of his teeth will make him change his philosophy, but don't count on this to happen.

He either doesn't think there are major problems or he knows there are but has no clue how to fix them. Either scenario is bad.

Yes actually.

I think he truly believes his offensive strategy is sound and it would have worked had it not been for injuries to a FB and a blocking TE. That's what's depressing, he'll never change.
