If Eli were consistently in the top 5, I would have no issue with his HOF candidacy. But he's not consistently in the top 5; he's rarely in the top 5.

He's already 8 or 9th in the history of the NFL for touchdown passes.
When he retires, he's going to be Top 5 in every quarterback statistic.
