I had a millennial tell me this. He said that he likes episodes 1, 2, and 3 because those were the first Star Wars movies he ever watched.
Later he watched the original trilogy and thought they were good but didn't like the real creature puppetry (ie. Jabba the Hut).
He said he found it distracting and dated.

Has nothing to do with being a millennial. If E 1, 2, 3 were the first that you watched then you're just a not a very legit person.
