It depends on most peoples' moods, but LOVE, in my opinion, was the best. It's just pure and it's sincere and it's garageesque.
Electric is good, but I find it to be a bit overrated. If you liked what hard rock was in 1987-88, then it's one of the best.
Sonic Temple...meh. Three good songs.
What Electric was supposed to be before Rubin agreed to do their work (The Manor Sessions) was pretty damn close to what Love sounded like and it may have been even better -- who knows? Ian hears, of all bands the Beastie Boys, and wanted to know who produced it and that's the way they wanted to sound. Rubin told them to stop recording British fairy shite and be a rock band and they jumped aboard. BUT, it's almost like they changed overnight -- especially Ian and Billy.

Sonic Temple would be my favorite.
One Cult story I have is that I saw them live at the Agora Theatre in 1999. The show was GA and we were at the door first and ran to the stage for front row standing the whole show. The band sounded loud and great. Halfway through the show this young blond girl pushed here way and came up under my arms which were holding the barrier - to not get pushed out of the front row.
This girl pushed her huge tits against my hands and smiled up at me to pretty much say "Do we have a deal?" Of course we did and it stayed that way until the crowd started pushing, and we found ourselves in the middle of a mosh pit. All I remember is trying to not hit the floor and get back to the front row.
That and the fact that Ian and the band sounded terrific...loud and crisp. Even got a pick thrown by Billy Duffy.
