Of the list, I've only seen Mad Max. That being said, I do think Ex Machina deserves to be on it.

It Follows was a top 10 movie and so was Mr. Holmes.

Mad MaX and The Martian are decent but dreadfully overrated at this point.

Ex Machina, Mad Max, Inside Out, Room and Spotlight would be my top five. There's a bit of a fall off after that IMO.
