I think it might. If it's admitted in pleadings, why not spell it out?

It matters if the change wasn't material.

It doesn't really add up. Altering a contract doesn't do much good when both parties have a copy of the contract.

We need more details.

I could depending on what was changed. Did they alter a date or wording that had nothing to do with the buyout or issues in the case? Was it a typo? Was it something Chavis was aware of and was going to initial before the mess erupted.

It matters when you alter it, then sue for breach of contract pertaining to the part that you altered.
