Its the complete opposite working for corporations. There could be accurate rumors going around that the bottom is falling out and the CEO/President will send out an email explaining to everyone "We understand some of you are concerned about the status of our company. While we had an unexpected problem, I can assure you it has been resolved and times have never been better at this company". Three days later the stock drops 30 points, higher ups start resigning..
