So............. He is a running type qb. I notice that you left out all the td's that his teammates could have had if cam wasn't a ball hog . Cam is a pretty good qb. But putting his name in the same post as Steve young is a total joke.

If you can run it in or throw, running is the better option.

Are you saying they run reads where he keeps it when there was a better option? Are you saying he calls the plays?

How exactly can you be a ball hog in football?

I have seen enough Carolina games that cam could handed off to one of his stud rb's but chose to keep it himself at the goaline. Btw how long is his longest Td run????

So you're talking about a read option? I would have to judge it play by play. If he scored, you can't really say it was the wrong decision

So you call him a ball Hog and then want him to prove you wrong by getting all of the yards and all of the tds?

No worries this too shall pass, I think last year we had Romo boys up in here find crazy stats to make his case of GOAT.

I'm not saying he is a bad/good/great QB, running or throwing. But I would like to see him and his team play more than 2 winning teams out of 13 before we crown him.

Nothing about the read option. Look I don't care how many times he scores. He is a great player. Just NOT at the level that some want to put him at yet..... He could become one of the best ever.... But we shall see.

Meh. Take this year for instance. 5 out of 7 of those TDs came from within the 2 yard line. The other two were from the 4 and 13.

Is there some kind of rule where 2-yd run TDs are worth less than 2-yd pass TDs?

Then it's not Cam making those decisions not to hand it off. The coach is radio-ing a QB keeper. QB's haven't called the plays in like 30 years, Peej

bullshite. There are certain qb' that end up calling them. Cam may be there. But don't sit there and tell me that cam went on his own to score a Td when it was not for him. Look I am not bashing him. Just don't think he is at the level that some are putting him at.

in this scenario where the article blows their load all over his rushing tds, I don't think his passing tds are relevant here. He's not doing anything amazing by calling his number to gain 2 yards.

I mean most coaches would rather let their running back take that hit

Edit: not meant as a criticism to Cam

The coach only cares about which has the best chance of scoring.

Except Cam is durable due to his large build so he has a 99 goal line sneak rating. The numbers in the article just doesn't impress me. It's not like he's slapping his dick on nfl defenses like he did to LSU in 2010 to earn those tds

This says a hell of a lot more about how the running game has fallen off in the NFL

Which is almost completely irrelevant, imo.

Oh I know he's successful at it. I've seen them run it on early downs from the 1. Just seems silly to me sometimes, but it works
