Well his family is from LA. Say what you will, but people from LA keep their roots. I moved back here after living in GA and Florida for 16 years.


They have been recruiting other qbs. If you think franks is the only one, then you are not very bright.

The issue I have is you have a perfectly capable qb in Scott Jr that would jump at the opportunity to come here. Should grab him and call it a day.

There is no way that you know he would even commit to LSU. Assuming he would just because he is from LA is naive.

Was Franks born in Louisiana? If not it's not a huge deal.

I lived in Louisiana until I was 14 and moved to Florida and I've lived in Florida minus a year or so total since then and I still love LSU and consider Louisiana my home

On the other hand, I had a friend in high school who grew up in California even though most of his family was from Louisiana and he couldn't have given a shite less about the state or LSU

My point being that his extended family living in Louisiana probably didn't affect his decision much if he wasn't born in Louisiana
