balance isn't running 25 pass plays 25 rushing plays..
it's about exploiting the defense's weaknesses.. whatever that may be..
balance is having the ability to do both when needed and trusting in your offense.

Air Raid coaches say balance is distributing the ball to every WR making the defense defend the entire field.
