if this is true it just goes to show how incompetent morons are running this place.
This gives me no hope that anyone with any sort of power at LSU is capable of pulling the trigger to get rid of miles or hire anyone to replace him

This is not news. Even if a payoff was made in full, none of the money would have come from state coffers. Not sure why everyone keeps beating that dead horse. The LSU people changed their minds when the vast majority of people they heard from were in favor of keeping Coach Miles; that coupled with their fear of possibly squandering millions of dollars, regardless of where the funds came from.
