we can't play nickel all the time. Bama and Arkansas aren't leaving the schedule.

Plus you can play against 3 WR sets while still in 4-3 under.

If we move to a 4-3 over 1 LB is essentially a speedy DE. The Seahawks use Cliff Avril as their sam. he played DE in Detroits traditional 4-3.

If we play a traditional 4-3 we have to recruit 3 traditional linebacker positions.

a 4-3 under lets us recruit 2 traditional linebackers and a pass rusher type guy.

We don't seem to have a problem recruiting that type of player (Mingo, Key, Hunter)

it may be a transition process but i think it would be a good fit for LSU. Its a pretty interesting technique.

we need to build our defense to stop Bama. They build their to stop us. You can' go to nickel from any base, but we shouldn't build to a nickel
